COPY EDITOR

Description
Glance Magazine is looking for an experienced copy editor to join our team. We’re a fun, hard-working group with a passion to make our award-winning monthly magazines the best they can be. 

To succeed in this position, you must be an energetic, deadline driven journalist who thrives on the challenges of a fast-paced environment. The copy editor will be responsible for correcting errors in grammar, spelling, usage and style, and triple checking the details and facts for local (and possibly some national) content in our magazines. 

Applicants must possess strong editing and fact checking skills, have a strong understanding of AP style, and heavy experience in researching, reporting and writing. An undergraduate degree in journalism, knowledge of Macintosh, and at least three years of copy editing and/or fact checking at a magazine or newspaper experience is required. NewsEdit and InCopy skills 
are preferred.

The graphic designer will be responsible for the creative development and production of a variety of print and web projects. Candidates must be self-motivated with good organizational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple design projects with tight deadlines.
