Ke$ha and Rihanna on tour...

Rihanna

The wait is over for Rihanna's headlining arena tour, 'Last Girl On Earth'.

Tapping both chart-climbing acts Ke$ha ("Tik Tok") and Nicki Minaj ("Lil Freak," "My Chick Bad"), Rihanna's over twenty date trek, which had been rumored last year, kicks off July 2 in Seattle, WA.

"We've never done a tour to this capacity. The production is unbelievable and the costumes, we just took it to a whole new level," Rihanna said in statement offered Monday, April 5. "Visually and sonically it's going to be a big step up from the last time. We just keep growing and this time it is a massive production that I cannot wait for."

Ke$ha, joining Rihanna on the strength of her chart-topping album "Animal," will aid highly sought after rapper Nicki Minaj (Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Usher) in keeping the party going through much of the summer months.

According to Live Nation, who is at the helm this time out, the 'Last Girl On Earth" tour will play through August 25, including stops in Atlanta, Miami, Toronto, Tampa, Denver, Calgary, Detroit and Chicago.

While the tour is a big deal for Rihanna, it is not her first major outing. She shared the stage with Chris Brown nearly two years ago.

Ke$ha recently told MTV News that during downtime on tour with Rihanna, the pop princesses “have slumber parties and pillow fights and … talk about boys, naked.” And it sounds like that stripped-down sensibility has carried over to her upcoming “Take It Off” video.

“It’s my favorite video, I think, ever, that I’ve done because I get to get really dirty in glitter sand, and we all get naked because we’re just, like, taking it all off,” she said.

But the “Take It Off” clip isn’t just about taking off your clothes and rolling in glitter. “It’s also about taking off your inhibitions and being raw and real,” Ke$ha said. “And then we start tearing each other apart into pieces, and we’re all made out of glittery magic dust … star dust.”

OK, so maybe it is mostly about getting naked. Either way, Ke$ha says the video is still her favorite. Not even the recent clip of Israeli soldiers dancing to her hit “Tik Tok” or the May 2 episode of “The Simpsons” that used the song in its opening sequence could top it.

And yet those were pretty cool. “It’s amazing … I love it,” she sad. “Having Israeli soldiers dancing to ‘Tik Tok’ and landing the opening of ‘The Simpsons’ … [they're] dreams. It’s been a pretty good year.”

Justin Bieber wins early at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards. The 16-year-old singing sensation was handed four surfboards by Shaquille O'Neal at his recent My Word concert taking place at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, July 25.

He received Choice Music: Breakout Artist - Male, winning over B.o.B, Jason Derulo, Drake and Nick Jonas & The Administration. He additionally got a prize for Choice Music: Pop Album, beating Ke$ha, Lady GaGa, Demi Lovato and Black Eyed Peas.

The "Baby" hitmaker was also given an honor as Choice Music: Male Artist, pushing aside Derulo, Drake, Adam Lambert and his mentor Usher. His fourth award was handed for Choice Summer Music Star: Male which had the likes of B.o.B, Taio Cruz, Drake and Eminem as competitors.

One day after surprising Bieber on stage, O'Neal wrote on Twitter, "I was at a justin bieber concert he had dat mug jumpin 50 thousand people dat kids a star, and I got his autograph thanks justin." It is unclear why Bieber's victories were announced prior to the telecast of the awards ceremony on August 9, but rumor suggests he may not be able to attend the event since his schedule on the road is tight.

Beside winning four trophies in music field, Bieber also has a chance to win another prize for Most Fanatic Fans. In this category, he is competing against David Archuleta, Miley Cyrus, "Glee" cast and "Twilight" stars.

Although Teen Choice Awards may not have Bieber in attendance, the prize-giving event still promises to be a star-studded affair since "Glee" actors Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale and Mark Salling will be co-hosting with Katy Perry; and Sandra Bullock, Robert Pattinson, Leighton Meester and Ashley Greene are confirmed to attend.

On top of that, Travis McCoy, Bruno Mars and Jason Derulo are set to perform. Other stars expected to show up at the show are David Archuleta, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Miranda Cosgrove, Zac Efron, Victoria Justice, Jim Parsons, Shailene Woodley, the Kardashians, Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, Ryan Sheckler and Logan Lerman.

Big Boi is inching closer to finally delivering his long-in-the-works solo project Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, now set for a July 6 release.

The Outkast rapper previewed selections from the album to media on Monday, including the record's first single, "Shutterbug." The syncopated, funk-drenched number finds the flashy MC toasting festive club nights.

"Now party people in the club, it's time to cut a rug/ And throw your drinks in the sky just for the shutterbugs," Big raps on the hook.

"Shutterbug" is the latest in a string of Big Boi tracks to hit the airwaves. The long-delayed album failed to materialize after the release of other songs, including the Mary J. Blige-assisted "Sumthin's Gotta Give" and "Royal Flush," featuring Outkast partner Andre 3000. But all that seems about to change.

In an interview with DJ Delz Big Boi revealed that Andre 3000 would be featured prominently throughout the Sir Lucious Left Foot project.

The aforementioned "Royal Flush," another track produced by Three Stacks himself, reunites the Outkast duo, as does "Looking for You," produced by Boi-1da, perhaps best known for his work on Drake's "Best I Ever Had."

"It's me and Stacks, two verses a piece, back to back, lyrical manslaughter," Big Boi said of the latter collaboration. "Who's better than the 'Kast? Nobody."

Next up, according to the pair's plan, Andre 3000 will release a proper solo debut before the two come together again for an Outkast album, which will be their first since 2006's Idlewild, the soundtrack to the movie of the same name.
