Fred Segal is an upscale and trendy Los Angeles, California based clothing retailer. There are currently two Fred Segal stores: one in Hollywood (on Melrose Avenue) and the other in Santa Monica.

In 1976, the Hollywood location was purchased by Ron Herman, who still operates it under the Fred Segal brand. The Santa Monica store is still owned by the Segal family. Fred Segal's Melrose Avenue store includes Mauro's Café, serving Italian food, and a juice bar. The largest store, Fred Segal Fun, carries many of fashions upcoming and "trendy" designers for women and men, in addition to a wide variety of denim brands.
